In the Audi A4 of the B9 series, the new ap coilovers provide sporty road holding

Since May 2019, ap Sportfahrwerke is under the umbrella of the KW automotive group and is now increasingly developing coilovers for current cars. From now on ap offers coilover kits for all Avant and sedans of the Audi A4 series B9 (type B8, B81) from the year of production 10/2015 on.

The continuously variable lowering range tested for the Audi A4 sedan with front-wheel drive is between 40 and 65 millimeters for both axles. Due to the axle design and the lower center of gravity of the saloon with Audi quattro drive (all-wheel drive), the ap coilover suspension allows an infinitely variable lowering of 30 to 55 millimeters on the front axle and 35 to 65 millimeters on the rear axle. In the Audi A4 Avant estate models (Station Wagon), a continuously variable lowering of 35 to 60 millimeters can set for both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The suspension design with its sporty dynamic spring rates and sporty, harmonious damper tuning ensures that comparatively good ride comfort is maintained despite maximum lowering. KW automotive guarantees a two-year warranty on the coilovers of ap sportfahrwerke for two years, if the suspension is installed professionally as described in the enclosed parts report and installation instructions by the local car repair shop. Due to the legal requirements regarding the minimum technical distances for vehicles with natural gas drive, the coilovers are not available for the Audi A4 Avant g-tron.
